BRAND NEW Ribbons and Bows…..OH MY!!!

Wow!! The challenge this week was to use brandie new ribbon and use it to make ribbons and bows in a way we do not usually use ribbon! Well I am the big fat honkin’ bow QUEEN!! So thankfully, my DDIL Jenna paid attention to the recent ribbon rose tutorial on SCS and she taught us how to make these adorable roses at our last downline meeting. She made a card that had this same basic layout but different colors, one larger rose, and no bow at the top. Now, you know me, I had to add the big fat honkin’ bow at the top!! After all, this challenge is all about ribbons and bows!! Is it not???? I used the brand new velvet stitched ribbon and the brand new cherry cobbler quilted satin ribbon too! Maybe I will do a tutorial on my blog in the future to show how easy peasy it is to make these adorable roses!! I had to tear myself away from my big gigantic project right now, which is swapping our master bedroom for my stamp studio! How about a husband who is not only willing but completely helps this to happen?? I love that man! Even if it WAS mostly so I would stop begging for the 2 car garage!! BWAHAHAHA…. Happy Tuesday everyone!! Happy Stamping!!! Soon I will be stamping instead of just swapping rooms!! YAY!!! Until next time………

Wow, these new ribbons are so gorgeous and those roses are to die for! I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how to make them! I hated when the satin rosettes were no longer available from SU…I found some on ebay but they weren't the gradient sizes. If I could learn to make my own, who needs to buy any?!
