EMBOSSING – THE DRY AND THE WET OF IT…….
The SUO challenge this week is for embossing – heat and dry or heat or dry – I chose to do both. I embossed the dragon fly in gold and smeared it with soft sky ink. I dry embossed my background with the lacy embossing folder – I used the Falling for You stamp set as well as the new dragonfly set to create this shabby chic card. This past weekend I sort of holed myself up in my stamp room and only came out for food. I am trying to get lots of samples made for Saleabration – and my husband just put a DVD player in the stamp room for me and he also bought me the most awesome Christmas gift this year of the entire set of Downton Abby DVD’s and MAN! Was that inspiration to stay in the stamp room!!! For some reason I do not get tired of watching that series over and over and over……One more thing before I hop on over to post my color challenge card this week on SCS……If you are reading this post, can you please leave me a comment? I’m starting to think I’m the only one who reads my blog….haha….only I’m not really laughing. Just if no one really reads it I may just stop blogging as what is the point? Just checking the “pulse” of my blog so to speak. 🙂 Happy Tuesday everyone!! Until next time, Karen

January 18, 2017I am commenting on my own blog to see if it's as impossible as people are telling me – I got several emails today of people saying they try to comment and can't figure out how. Let's see if this posts. 🙂

January 19, 2017I hope you have found out why the comments are not getting through. I thought I would see if I can reply to your comment & have it go through. Maybe they are in a cloud somewhere waiting for your approval before they can be posted. It always says you have to approve them before posting but as I don't have a blog, I don't know how that works.

January 19, 2017Karen, your creations always wow me – and I love getting to "know" you through your blog. You were a presenter at my first convention many years ago, and you've always been a standard for me as a mom, a demo, and now a grandma. You're the best!!

January 19, 2017Karen, from reading your earlier posts, I know you are trying to balance your Stampin Up business with your office job …. and I'm sure blogging is somewhat like a third job! We all understand that there are only so many hours in a day, but just wanted to let you know that you'd be greatly missed if you decided to discontinue blogging. I can pick your cards out from a distance because they are so unique and beautiful! Hope you find the time to continue blogging! Thanks for all the beautiful eye candy through the years!

January 26, 2017I enjoy your blog posts and have you on my blog reader so I always know when you've posted. (Feedly)
I also enjoy Downton Abbey… they had a marathon of the entire 6 seasons on our PBS station over new years weekend and I DVRd it and watched the whole thing. I think I've seen it 3 times and like you, I feel it never gets old. Which is kind of funny, because it is 'old'!
Thanks for blogging and sharing ideas…please don't stop!
