IT’S IN THE BAG…….

SO – time to come out of my box, it’s a 3D week on the SUO challenge blog!! We had to make a box, bag, or basket.  So I fell back on an old pattern…..after I thawed my lips out with my heat tool.  3D is like WHOA, to me…..my lips freeze.  I.don’t.do.3D.  For the most part, so like the title says, It’s in the BAG…..I had to stretch and make a bag.  The way you make this little cutie is to take a half sheet of designer series paper that is printed on both sides.  You score the long way across about 1/2″ down from the top.  You fold it over, and that makes the lip at the top of the bag.  Then you take a small box, I used my ink refill box from SU, and you sort of bottom half wrap the box with the paper.  I used sticky strip to wrap it – so it would hold.  You wrap just the bottom half and you kind of crease the folds so it looks like a gift bag.  Then you just punch two holes, one on either side and put ribbon thru it – or in my case, I braided the saleabration cording – doesn’t that look cute?? I used the petite flower punch to embellish my bag, and the banner punch as well.  I was kinda pleased with my 3D bag….always feels good to step outside your box,,,,,go ahead, it’s in the BAG!! Until next time,,,,,Happy Stamping!! Karen

Really cute bag. The braided handle takes it over the top. Very creative.

Karen, Great idea to braid what I think is the SAB twine. I love the color tone! I'm "Wishing Big" for spring to show up in NJ.
    Happy Stampin
