So the challenge for tonite is a happy birthday card! But for me, the challenge turns out to be staying awake long enough to get this posted. WOW, what a weekend. Ever have a great big event coming up and assume there is a magic weekend in between the one you are living and the big event? Then it hits you, all at once that this IS the weekend that you should be prepping for 40 people or so?? WOW what a weekend!! I stayed up till 3:30AM on Friday and 1:30AM on Saturday just getting ready! Now THAT’S a challenge,,,,,had to change a color or two….and an embelishment or two….but I think I almost have it totally together! YAY!! But as I got ready to post this card and next to dow olad my card for the color challenge this week the challenge became keeping my eyes open….and that remains the challenge as I race to finish before my eyes close at will again…UNBELIE VABLE how yummy sleep is when you can’t sleep, right? Well I am almost there and then it’s off to dreamland for this one! Do you like my Happy Birthday card??? Hope so! Happy Tuesday everyone, I am off to beddy bye!! Bye!!! Until next time, keep on stampin’, and sleep some too! YUM!

February 23, 2012I love what you did with those flowers !! Last week I had just stamped a whole row of those roses and leaves in order to make a card using them. Perfect!! It kind of looks like you cut the center out of another stamped rose and dimensionalized it. Great Job and I love the embossed background!!

March 6, 2012What a beautiful card! It inspires me to begin making cards again after a long dry spell. What set are the flowers from?

March 6, 2012Karen B Barber, I adore everything you create. I absolutely love this card. I re-created/case'd it by changing the VV to WW, and layering white organdy ribbon with the BB on top, instead of the crochet'd VV ribbon below. I won't be posting it, as it is pretty much a direct case of your lovely work, but I just wanted to say thank you, thank you. This card will be a birthday card for my daughter, and a thank you card to a client. And, even though I tell them I just copied what you can do, it makes me look like I'm brilliant and creative in their eyes. Thanks for inspiring me, every day. Thanks for being so kind at convention, and taking the time to say "HI" to me when I come over to chat. Thanks for being amazing with SU products, and for being such an amazing human being. I know, I'm gushing and I sound like a groupy. Well, I guess I am that! All the best to you!

March 15, 2012Karen, I love your work and especially this card. Can you please tell me if you used white embossing powder on different colors of CS or if you used sponge daubers or something else to color the blossoms. I really would like to try to make such a card using your technique.
Thanks a million!
