WONDERFUL WINTER WISHES
MAN did I struggle this week with this CARD. I had an idea in my head but it didn’t translate very well onto the paper. 🙁 The color challenge was baked brown sugar, almost artichoke and cherry cobbler. The SUO challenge was Let it SNOW, so I combined, and I am not a big fan of this card. It’s okay, you win some, you lose some, you like some and others…..not so much. Happy Tuesday everyone!! Until next time…Karen

November 21, 2013Karen, I LOVE this card! It jumped out at me from my blog feed, and I had to take a closer look. It's gorgeous. (Often the cards I least like, that I've made, are loved by others!)

November 21, 2013I like the kraft paper BG .
It turned out o.k. really.
I enjoy seeing Christmas cards in something other than red & green.

November 21, 2013Are you kidding? I absolutely LOVE this card. I love the dark brown sugar background – it makes the card feel vintage – and with the pops of white and the green trees, it's totally fabulous.

November 21, 2013This might not be your favorite but I love it! Did you punch holes in the tree to let the red show through? And what did you use for the snow? Beautiful job!

November 21, 2013No sure what you had in your head, but I like this card and will probably CASE it leaving off the bow for mailing purposes, or go with a smaller ribbon for the bow.

November 21, 2013Lovely card Karen but you simply MUST list your supplies. Also, did you use brown/white polka dot paper or white jel pen for snow?
Awaiting your reply,

November 21, 2013Karen,
Such a beautiful card. You have simply GOT to list your supplies and tell alittle bit about HOW you made the card. Like how did you make the snow falling? Was it brown paper with white polka dots or plain brown paper with white jel pen, which pen, if so?
Awaiting your reply,
Loralee Parish

November 21, 2013This might not be your favorite but I love it! Did you punch holes on the one tree to let the red show through? What did you use for the white snow? I think this is a beautiful card!
