FAVORITE NEW DIE CUTS

The SUO challenge this week is to use your favorite new die cuts – and I have to say, though I LOVE all the fancy ones, my heart is happy because we FINALLY go layering shapes – ovals, squares, circles, hearts.  We just NEEEEEEEDED them.  Now if we can just get some edglets back. 🙂 To make this card I filled my aqua painter with alcohol and used reinkers of peek a boo peach, watermelon wonder and pear pizazz to watercolor these sweet posies from one of my favorite new stamp sets, Touches of Texture.  This is such an awesome technique to use for coloring because the paper doesn’t pill and you can use regular weight cardstock! I also used this same card for the color challenge over on SCS this week, and I used the same sentiment stamp I did last week.  Haha.  I sound like I so when I wear the same outfit on Monday that I wore on Sunday to church.  Like anyone except me really cares.   Haha.  So egotistical to think they would even REMEMBER what I wore the day before if I happened to run tinot a church friend at work, which I never do.  HAHA.  I am tired.  Can you tell?? Getting a little punchy here.  Nite all, Happy Stamping and Happy Tuesday!! Until next time, when I promise to change up the sentiment, Karen

I loved the crisp clean look of your black and white with a pop of red card, but between that and the softer, more vintage look of this and the added dimension I couldn't pick a favourite.
